Intro puzzles
Original puzzles, ready for a little quiet thinking.

Intro boards in this collection use two or more fixed cats and finish with single-candidate placements. Practice updating all affected rows, columns, regions and neighboring cells. Labels describe the generator’s verified rule trace and remain provisional pending human calibration. Choose a board size independently.
Difficulty reflects the reasoning, not just the board size.

Build the habit of proving a single
Intro boards begin with at least two fixed cats and have a verified route using single-candidate placements. Your task is to explain why every other cell in a chosen group is unavailable. Do not pick a cell only because its region is small.
After each new cat, review its row, column, region and immediate neighbors. Compare a short compact finish with a longer large-board cascade to practice the same rule with different amounts of scanning. These groups describe the recorded route, not measured human difficulty.
