5×5 cat logic puzzles
Original puzzles, ready for a little quiet thinking.

This collection contains 80 original 5×5 boards. Each has 5 connected regions and needs 5 cats. The compact grid keeps a whole position easy to inspect; the reasoning still depends on candidates and region shape. Size and difficulty are separate: all three reasoning groups are available in this collection.
Difficulty reflects the reasoning, not just the board size.

What to practice on a compact grid
A 5×5 board has only 25 cells, which makes it convenient to compare a candidate list with the whole position. Compact does not mean that the next cat is obvious. Some boards finish through singles; others require several exclusions before a placement appears.
Compare the two examples below before choosing a difficulty. They use the same quotas and adjacency rule, but ask you to notice different kinds of evidence.
